1959

When Jeppesen took over the company in 1949, he continued
the original name in his own name; Hornsyld
smithy and machine workshop by Knud Sofus F. Jeppesen.
In 1953, he changed the name to Triax machine factory by
K. Jeppesen. It has since been changed to simply Triax.

1970

Triax was really going global in the 70s
A stagnating domestic market forced Triax with
Knud Jeppesen at the helm to seek growth in
new geographical markets. They endeavoured to
to be careful in its choice of agents and dealers
based on the motto "it is most important to sell not
to produce!"

Also in the 1980s, the factory was
the factory was heavily expanded.

1960: 250 square metres
1979: 10,000 square metres
1986: 18,000 square metres
1991: 20,000 square metres
