At Triarca, we are always interested in and curious about how our products are used and received by our customers. That is why we travelled to Ishøj to visit the installation company Eco Techniq to talk about their experience installing our GObox® charging stations, which they purchase through the wholesaler Lemvigh Müller. Here we meet electrician Dannie Jensen, who has been responsible for installing the charging stations.

Rolling out e-mobility must be simple and efficient

Who is Eco Techniq?

Eco Techniq is an installation company with a green approach. ‘We prioritise energy optimisation: charging stations, solar cells and that sort of thing in general,’ says Dannie Jensen.

Eco Techniq has carried out a project with Triarca charging stations and talks here about their experience with the product in this context.

Experiences with the solution

Dannie Jensen shares their experiences with the charging station: "Compared to other charging stations we have used, the GObox® charging station is very easy to use because you have free access to connect the cables. It has a ready-built panel inside that you just need to install, and then you can purchase mounting plates for the most popular charging boxes on the market. We have used them for ABB Terra boxes, but they are also available for Zaptec Pro, among others.‘

’..we are seeing approximately a 50% reduction in installation time"

Efficient installation

One of the major advantages of the charging stand is the reduced installation time. ‘It takes significantly less time to install these charging stands than others,’ says Dannie Jensen. ‘The installation time for the stand itself is not as long as for similar solutions. We are seeing approximately half the installation time.’

Flexible delivery

Eco Techniq purchases the charging stations from their wholesaler Lemvigh Müller. ‘We do this because of the convenience of only having to purchase materials from one place,’ explains Dannie Jensen. Delivery time has not been a problem either: ‘We have had them delivered from day to day.’

Electrical components

Triarca's GObox® comes with electrical components ready for installation. ‘I see this as an advantage because we don't have to spend time building them in,’ says Dannie Jensen.

Easy installation and stability

When it comes to installing the GObox®, it is a relatively easy process. Here, you can save time on both excavation work and cabling via looping. ‘Of course, you have to dimension your installation according to the number, which means that you install two charging stands per cable and then loop from one to the next. It takes a maximum of 10 minutes longer to install the charging box with two cables than to install one in the first of the boxes,’ explains Dannie Jensen

.

Customer experience and satisfaction

Dannie Jensen also mentions that their customers have been satisfied with GObox®. "Our customers want it to be embedded, even though it comes with a wing foundation, so of course we do that. Our subcontractor, who does the excavation work, has also had no problems with the installation."

No heat loss calculation

One of the major advantages of the charging station is that it comes with electrical components ready for installation. ‘I see this as a clear advantage because we don't have to spend time calculating heat loss, and the factory-built panel is very functional. It has plenty of space, and there are terminals for mounting so you don't have to mount the components themselves,’ says Dannie Jensen.

Labelling

The documentation that comes with the GObox® is also an advantage. ‘We just have to make sure to label it with the relevant information, and that's basically it,’ concludes Dannie Jensen.
